Eleven of the titles are about religion in America, and one title each for the history of Islam and Judaism. eLibrary also boasts a handful of new transcripts from some of the hottest current events programs on cable television and public radio.   Classroom Activity: Hitler & Germany
January 30 will mark the 70th anniversary of the appointment of Adolf Hitler to be chancellor of Germany by Paul von Hindenburg, the previous chancellor. Why were the German people able to accept Hitler as their leader despite his checkered background and the use of so many controversial tactics to gain power? Help students answer this question using eLibrary CE, History Study Center, and ProQuest Learning: Literature.

  Sighting Citations @ eLibrary CE
"We LOVE the citations in eLibrary," says Kristy Fowler, a librarian at Madison Middle School in Texas. "The students are delighted when they can click on Citation and have help with their MLA style. We always remind the kids to touch up what they see -- sometimes there are style errors, like abbreviating June -- and to add the hanging indent. We may *love* these citations, but the kids *really love* them and are so grateful!" Be sure to make full use of this powerful feature in eLibrary CE.
